House Rules

We want you to relax, enjoy the space, and have an incredible stay at Starlight House. Please help us care for the home and respect our neighbors by following the house rules below.

  • Maximum occupancy is 16 guests.

  • All guests must be registered in advance. A complete guest list is required prior to check-in.

  • Unregistered guests or visitors are not permitted on the property. Occupancy is monitored and enforced.

  • No parties, events, or unauthorized gatherings.

Guests & Gatherings

  • Quiet hours are 10:00 PM–10:00 AM.

  • Non-recording noise-level devices are in place to help enforce this rule. These devices do not record conversations or audio.

  • In accordance with City of Austin requirements, sound must not be audible beyond the property line during quiet hours and may not exceed 75 dB at the property line outside of quiet hours.

  • Outside of quiet hours, please be mindful of outdoor noise, music, and conversations and avoid excessive noise that may disturb our neighbors.

Quiet Hours & Noise

  • No glass in or around the pool. Shatter-resistant drinkware is available for outdoor use.

  • No diving, running, or unsafe behavior in the pool area.

  • Do not tamper with pool equipment or controls.

  • Do not climb on the roof or access any areas not intended for guest use.

Pool & Outdoor Areas

  • No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors.

  • Smoke monitoring devices are in place to help enforce this rule.

Smoking & Vaping

  • No pets or children are permitted.

  • The property is not suitable for children or animals due to the unfenced swimming pool, open balcony, stairs, and other design features and furnishings.

Safety, Security & Monitoring

  • Exterior security cameras are located around the property for security purposes.

  • Do not disable, cover, unplug, interfere with, or tamper with security cameras, monitoring devices, smoke/CO detectors, locks, Wi-Fi or network equipment, or other safety and security systems.

  • Owner's closets and other locked areas are not accessible to guests.

  • Please keep exterior doors and windows secured when leaving the property.

  • Please treat the home, furnishings, artwork, and amenities with care.

  • Do not move large furniture, wall décor, televisions, or installed equipment.

  • Please report any damage, spills, breakage, or maintenance issues promptly so they can be addressed.

  • Sensitive septic system: please flush toilet paper only. Do not flush wipes of any kind, feminine products, paper towels, tissues, cotton products, or other items, even if labeled “flushable.”

  • No glitter, confetti, silly string, adhesives, or decorations that may damage surfaces.

  • No illegal activity is permitted anywhere on the property.

  • Commercial photography, filming, or other commercial use of the property requires prior written approval.

  • Guests are responsible for the conduct of everyone associated with their reservation and will be charged for any damage, excessive cleaning, remediation, repairs, replacement of damaged or missing items, or other costs resulting from their stay.

Violation of these House Rules may result in immediate termination of the stay and removal from the property without refund.
