Starlight House offers self check-in with keyless entry.

Your unique access information will be provided before arrival. Please use the front door and make sure exterior doors are securely closed and locked whenever you leave the property.

Early check-in or late check-out is available only when approved in advance.

Starlight House

To unlock: Wake the keypad by pressing the Home symbol in the bottom-left corner, then enter your access code.

To lock: Close the door completely and press the Lock symbol in the bottom-right corner.

Midnight Moonhouse (Casita)

To Unlock

1. Wake the keypad and enter your access code.

2. Press the Unlock button.

3. Once the lock confirms access, lift the handle UP to unlock the door.

To Lock

1. Check that the latch on the side of the door is flat. If it is not, lift the inside handle UP to unlock it first.

2. Close the door completely.

3. Push the handle DOWN to lock the door.

4. Check that the door is securely locked before leaving.

Starlight House (#1) is the first large green house you’ll see on your right as you enter the cul-de-sac.

Parking is available in the Starlight House driveway and on the street.

Please note that the long driveway to the right belongs to the neighboring Unit 2 and is not available for guest parking. Please do not block neighboring driveways, sidewalks, gates, or other access points.

Password: You’ll find the password on the Welcome Sign at the property and in your check-in message.

You can also scan the Wi-Fi QR code on the welcome sign for easy access.

Starlight House is equipped with Google Fiber 1 Gig high-speed internet.

For your comfort, thermostats can be adjusted within the following ranges:
Cooling: 68–82°F | Heating: 55–77°F

If you have any trouble adjusting the temperature or the home isn’t reaching your selected setting, please reach out and we’ll be happy to help.

Ceiling fans and blackout window treatments are available throughout the sleeping areas. Please return ceiling fan remotes to their wall mounts after use, and keep exterior doors and windows closed while the heating or air conditioning is running.

Sofa Bed
The teal sofa beneath the TV in the Starlight Lounge upstairs converts into a queen bed.

To open:

1. Remove the sofa seat cushions.

2. Locate the handle on the folded bed frame inside the sofa.

3. Pull the handle up and toward you to lift the bed frame out.

4. Continue unfolding until the mattress is fully extended and the legs are securely on the floor.

To close, reverse the steps, making sure the mattress and bedding are clear of the frame before folding.

Please do not force the mechanism. If you have any trouble opening or closing the sofa bed, reach out and we’ll be happy to help.

Automated Window Shade

If you’re using the Starlight Lounge for sleeping and prefer a darker space, the high window is equipped with an automated shade. Use the wall-mounted control to lower or raise the shade as needed.

Cookware + Kitchen Supplies
Cookware, cooking utensils, dinnerware, glassware, and basic kitchen essentials are provided for your use. Please use the provided non-scratch utensils with nonstick cookware.

Cast-Iron Grill & Griddle
After use, allow to cool, then scrape away any food residue and hand wash with warm water and the provided brush/scraper (a small amount of dish soap is fine). Do not soak or place in the dishwasher. Dry immediately and thoroughly, then apply a very light coat of the provided avocado oil spray and wipe away any excess before storing.

The private pool, waterfall, and outdoor spaces are yours to enjoy during your stay. Pool towels are provided in the Starlight Room closet.

Pool Heating
Pool heating to 85°F is available for $175/day plus applicable tax. 24 hours’ advance notice is recommended to allow adequate heating time, but feel free to reach out with shorter notice and we’ll accommodate when possible.

Ambient Pool Lighting
Complimentary ambient pool lighting is available upon request for evenings by the pool.

Select a Party, Romance, Caribbean, American, Sunset, or Royal lighting mode, or a solid blue, green, red, white, or magenta hue to set the mood for your stay.

Pool Safety
Use of the pool and outdoor areas is at your own risk. No glass is permitted in or around the pool. Shatter-proof acrylic drinkware is available on the top right shelf of the cabinet to the left of the refrigerator. Please do not adjust or tamper with pool equipment or controls. For complete pool safety requirements, please see the House Rules.

Scheduled Outdoor Maintenance
Routine pool and lawn maintenance takes place on Wednesdays between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Service professionals may access the outdoor areas during this time but will not enter the home.

You’re welcome to sign into your own streaming accounts during your stay. Please remember to sign out before checkout.

Please leave TV remotes with their corresponding TVs.

The Starlight Photo Wall

Be a pop star, get a little starry-eyed, or channel the Lone Star State with a cowboy hat.

Our Starlight photo wall and film are yours to enjoy during your stay—so snap away and take your memories home with you! We just ask that the camera and props stay at Starlight for future guests to enjoy.

A washer and dryer are available for guest use, with starter laundry supplies provided.

Please leave the washer door open after use to allow it to air out.

Indoor trash and recycling bins are located to the bottom right of the kitchen sink, with extra trash bags stored under the kitchen sink.

If the indoor bins become full, please transfer trash and recycling to the outdoor bins located through the front fence gate on the left side of the property when facing the house.

Please place recycling loose in the recycling bin rather than inside plastic bags. Please place all accumulated trash and recycling inside the appropriate outdoor bins by Thursday evening for collection. If a bin is full, please contact us for instructions regarding overflow.

A service provider will move the bins to the curb on Thursday and return them on Saturday. No action is needed from guests.

Please flush toilet paper only. Extra toilet paper rolls are located under the sink in each bathroom.

Do not flush:

• Wipes of any kind, including those labeled “flushable”

• Feminine hygiene products

• Paper towels or tissues

• Cotton pads, cotton balls, or swabs

• Any other personal care or household products

Please place these items in the trash.

For a life-threatening emergency, fire, or immediate danger, call 911.

Safety Equipment

A fire extinguisher and first-aid kit are located under the kitchen sink.

Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed throughout the property.

Security System

For added peace of mind, complimentary access to the home’s monitored alarm system is available upon request.

If something isn’t working properly, you notice damage, or something simply doesn’t seem quite right, please let us know as soon as possible.

• Load used dishes into the dishwasher and start it.

• Place trash and recycling in the appropriate bins.

• Turn off lights and other electronics; TVs may be turned off or left in Art Mode

• Return any household items used during your stay to their original locations.

• Check closets, drawers, outlets, and bathrooms for personal belongings.

• Close and secure all exterior doors and windows.

• Make sure the front door locks behind you when you leave.

There’s no need to strip the beds or do extensive cleaning — our cleaning team will take care of the rest.

Late checkout must be approved in advance.
